“Everything had such an amazing flavor! I'm always leery of shredded chicken but this chicken was juicy & so delish.” – Rema Salehi
The menu thoughtfully balances classic options with unique flavors. The Pupusas are a standout feature, crafted to be thick and handmade, offering a comforting bite that pairs beautifully with the house's spicy hot salsa. Customers rave about the Arepas, bursting with juicy shredded chicken, providing the perfect crunch—especially when you take them to-go!
Not only does The Antojitos House excel in its savory options, but their desserts are also delightful. The Platano Fritos, or fried sweet plantains, are a must-try, while the Flan with its silky caramel layer offers a sweet conclusion to your meal.

Regular patrons often mention the warmth of the owner, who takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment. With a simple menu that cuts through indecision, it's clear that quality is prioritized over quantity.

It’s a local gem that deserves to be on everyone’s food radar—an experience that ensures you’ll want to return for more deliciousness time and time again.
“ This restaurant is small and well-hidden but the food quality is incredible. We went for lunch and it was nearly empty. The owner came out and was so helpful in recommending a range of items. The food came out fast and was just... so delicious. The one true test of a restaurant is if you will go back and I will absolutely come back. My friends got a mix of items that were all authentic and apparently amazing, and my sopes were tasty and filling! ”
“ I stumbled upon this place after a long day of showing homes. I was so hungry & the owner was kind enough to make me something very quickly while my main course was making. I ordered the pollo & the queso pupas empanadas the arepas pollo. The empanadas were so crunchy & kept their crunch during travel time. Everything had such an amazing flavor! I'm always leery of shredded chicken but this chicken was juicy & so delish. The hot salsa was also very good with great spice. I honestly wish it would have been spicier. The owner was so personable & easy to talk with. She is a hard worker who takes pride in her food. I appreciated the smaller menu because it helped with decision making & keeping things simple! My only suggestion was to have a light up sign as it was a bit hard to find in the complex. I will 100% be coming back here!!! ”
“ A coworker revealed this delightful little restaurant to me. Food is amazing! Fresh, flavorful, prepared to order. You'd never guess it from the road (hard to find) but well worth seeking it out! ”
“ Wow! What a great, local gem! It's tucked into a strip mall and unassuming but the food is outstanding!! The owner is also super friendly and helpful about any and all menu inquiries. I had a shredded beef Arepa which was AMAZING, and a fully loaded (scratch made tortilla, eggs, beans, chorizo, and avocado) Baleada which was also very good. Paired very well with the house hot sauce and creama. I also had their house horchata- nice cinnamon notes and not too sweet nor thick. Very refreshing on a hot day. I'll definitely be back to order all the things on the menu which appeal to me- patacon, tajadas, my next breakfast- desayuno tipico! Vegetarian (and some Vegan) options also available for just about every protein. ”
“ The best Latin food! They can do it all! Every Latin dish you can think of! The best fried chicken I ever tasted! Arepas were perfect. The portions of food you get here are BIG. Made from scratch. I tried almost everything on the menu and love it! A MUST TRY! ”
“ Phenomenal food, great owner gave recommendations on what to get. Did not disappoint. Real authentic vibe. This place is a true hidden gem, if you know you know. ”
“ With the quality and authenticity of the food, this place should always be packed! Don't be put off by the construction on the road nor the hole in the wall exterior. The inside is where all of the beautiful and delicious action is found! We sampled many different choices from the menu for my birthday dinner. I loved it, and so did the rest of my family. They were nice and thoughtful to allow us to bring in my cake, even bringing plates out and knife to cut it. Mercifully, they did not have to sing on my behalf ”
“ I thoroughly enjoyed the food here! It's hard to find vegetarian options of a lot of the items on the menu, but the woman who owns the place has done a wonderful job of including vegetarian versions of classic Central American foods. I actually came back the day after my first visit for a second round! The food is fresh, vegetables are crisp, and I loved how homey and cozy everything felt. It really did feel like I was stepping away from day-to-day life to enjoy some authentic food. ”
